James Ebersole
James E. Ebersole, 69, of Greenwood, Ind., and formerly of Warsaw, Ind., and New Town, N.D., passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 14, 1942, in Woodbury, Pa., to George Moses and Mary Kathryn (Beach) Ebersole. In March of 1963 he was united in marriage to Mary Rose Dunkleberger in Warsaw. Mary Rose preceded him Jan. 8, 1997. He served as a supervisor for 30 years with the New Town, N.D., Water Department and formerly served with the city of Warsaw in same capacity.
His is survived by a daughter: Cynthia (Chad) Shaffner, Greenwood, Ind.; a son Jim (Debb) Ebersole, Indianapolis; a nephew: Lee Dunkleberger, Greenwood, Ind.; brothers: John Ebersole, Warsaw; and Paul Ebersole, New Enterprise, Pa.; sisters: Glea Foor, Clarion, Pa.; Gail Svendsen, Carmel, Ind.; and Joyce McConnell, Warsaw; grandchildren: Kathryn Marie and Christopher Shaffner, both of Greenwood; John Lehman, Fort Wayne; Shaun Lehman, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Danielle Lehman and Shannon Hawthorn, both of Indianapolis; and great-grandchildren: Johnathon Clash, Lillian Hawthorn and Elizabeth Hawthorn, all of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.
Calling hours are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate the service.
