Food & Fun Day
July 18 will be the second Food & Fun Day – Imagination Day. All ages will enjoy creating sand art, scratch art, and an imaginative snack. Sign up at the children’s desk for one of three sessions – 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., or 2:30 p.m.
Teens:
Thriller practice for Teens continues at 2 p.m. Thursdays. On July 19, we will be filming our own thriller video to be premiered at the Teen Lock-in on Aug. 2. Bring old clothes to turn into costumes. We will dress in costumes, put on Zombie make-up, and film the dance. Our practices have been great and we are doing well on the dance, but still have room for more dancers. Keep reading! Only 50 hours read this summer earns your ticket to the lock-in.
Preschool Story Time:
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, how I wonder what you are? Join us for starry stories, crafts, and a snack. Miss Tina will read at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, and special guest storyteller, Melinda Roose will read at 11 a.m. Friday morning.
Summer Road Trips are more fun with audiobooks:
If you’re going to be on the road, getting in a vacation while you still can this summer, listening to audiobooks is a great way to make the drive seem shorter. Milford Public Library has titles for kids, teens, and adults.
Here are a few new titles you might want to pick up: Lost Hero orSon of Neptune by Rick Riordan, Need or Captivate by Carrie Jones, Stay Close by Harlan Coben, and Unseen by Heather Graham.
