All-Star Tourneys On Tap
Little League All-Star baseball and softball teams from across District 14, which includes Warsaw, are gearing up for tournament play.
The District 14 tourneys include 70 teams in 10 different divisions. District 14 includes Baugo, Bristol, Cleveland, Concord, Edwardsburg, Elkhart FOP, Goshen, Middlebury, Mishawaka, Osolo and Warsaw little leagues.
District champions advance to either state or sectional competition depending upon the division.
The 9-10 baseball division tourney begins July 14 with 12 teams. The final is July 21 at 10 a.m. at Bristol with the winner advancing to State, which starts July 28 in Dyer.
The 10-11 baseball tourney begins July 8 with the final among the seven teams July 16 at 6 p.m. Edwardsburg. The winner advances to State starting July 21 at Franklin Township.
The Major Baseball tourney starts July 7 with 10 teams. The final is July 15 at 2 p.m. at Osolo with the winner moving on to State starting July 21 at Osolo.
The 13-year old baseball division tourney starts July 11 with four teams. The final is July 15 at 2 p.m. at Middlebury and the winner goes on to the Sectionals July 20-21 at Goshen.
The Junior Baseball tourney, which includes eight teams, starts July 5. The final is July 12 at 6 p.m. at Warsaw with the winner advancing to Sectionals July 15-16 at Warsaw.
The four teams in the Senior Baseball tourney start play July 12. The final is July 16 at 6 p.m. at Concord. State play begins July 25 at Portage.
The 9-10 softball tourney starts July 9 with nine teams. The final is July 15 at 2 p.m. at Cleveland with the winner moving on to State starting July 18 at West Lafayette.
The Senior Softball, involving five teams, begins July 6. The final is July 12 at 6 p.m. at Mishawaka. State play begins July 17 at New Albany.
The Big League Baseball tourney final is July 3 with Elkhart FOP vs. Baugo at 6 p.m. at Osolo. The winner advances to State starting July 9 at Portage.
The Major Softball tourney started July 1 and concludes with the final July 8 at 2 p.m. at Baugo. State play begins July 11 at South Bend.
