Janice Lee Fawley
Janice Lee Fawley, 76, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born on July 14, 1935, in Swayzee, Ind., to Virgil Gowin and Ada Grace (Ammon) Gowin. On March 25, 1955, she was married in Warsaw to Max Allen Fawley, who survives.
Janice was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 70 years where she worked as a receptionist at United Telephone and later at Lake City Bank in Warsaw. She was a 1953 graduate of Warsaw High School, and was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Winona Lake, Ind.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Max Allen Fawley, Warsaw; a son: Bill (Jonel) Fawley, Warsaw; and her daughter: Jane (David) Slusher, Hudsonville, Mich.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister: Roma Maish, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Ind., and officiated by Dr. Brent Sandy. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
