Donnabelle L. Darr, 85, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the IU Goshen Hospital.

She was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Leesburg, Ind., to Donald E. and Blanche M. (Ross) Hart.  On Feb. 14, 1947, she married Harold “Bill” Darr who preceded her in 1971. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and a baker for Augsburger’s Grocery in Syracuse. She had attended the Syracuse Church of God.

Mrs. Darr is survived by her two daughters: Dixie (Bob Welty) Darr, Goshen; and Debbie (Steven) VanderReyden, Syracuse; a son: Dennis Darr; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister: Betty Stocker, St. Petersburg, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son: Danny Bill Darr.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 26, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Services will begin at noon Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Interment will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
