Renfred ‘Ren’ Leion Thompson
Renfred “Ren” Leion Thompson, 40, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana as a result of congestive heart failure.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Kerry Thompson and Mary (Coffer) Walker who both survive.
Ren has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 14 years, where he worked as a grain handler for Stump’s Grain Inc., Pierceton. He attended Warsaw Community Church of Warsaw, Ind. Ren was a very fun loving and active person, he loved life, people, sports, animals, and helping others if possible. He has touched so many people and will be missed dearly.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons: Ryan D. Thompson and Trey D. Thompson, both of Warsaw; his fiancé: Olivia S. Renfrow; father: Kerry Thompson, Colorado City, Texas; mother: Mary L. Walker, Lancaster, Texas; four brothers: Ashford, Christopher, Stanford and Thelemon Thompson, all of Texas; and one sister: Tamire Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Ray Hansen.
