The Silver Lake Days is in full swing today and kicked off with a parade this morning.
Other events throughout the day are to include a corn hole tournament, Lions bingo in the Lions building at 7 p.m., and music by the band Taken. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the downtown area so bring your lawn chairs.
Merchant and Lions Club prize drawings are being held at various times throughout the evening.

Hope Young spent her first birthday watching the Silver Lake Days parade with her mother, Kristi Bradley. The “cutest birthday girl ever,” as her T-shirt read, got lots of candy that was tossed from parade participants.
