Eleanore J. Williams
Eleanore J. Williams, 88, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away 3:35 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 1, 1924, in Michigan City, Ind., to Tom and Edna Storey. She married Robert A. Williams on Sept. 29, 1942, in South Bend, Ind. She worked as a dishwasher and kitchen help for John Wong Restaurant for 18 years, retiring in 1987. Eleanore enjoyed reading books, roller skating and playing card games. She attended St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Michigan City, Ind.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters: Linda (Duane) Akerman, Liberty Center, Ohio; Carole Sutherlin, Warsaw; a son: Tom (Missy) Williams, Akron, Ind.; five granddaughters: Janet Suterlin, Warsaw; Amanda Williams, Akron; Janet Gerschutz, Hogate, Ohio; Lisa Ackerman, Liberty Center, Ohio; Edna Ackerman, Napoleon, Ohio; four grandsons: Kevin Sutherlin, Warsaw; Tommy Williams, Akron; Jeremy Williams, Akron; Duane Ackerman Jr., Liberty Center, Ohio; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert A. Williams; two sons: James L. Williams and Bruce Williams; parents: Tom and Edna Storey; three brothers: Roger Story, Billy Storey and Wayne Storey.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others.
