Rinker Family Foundation, Syracuse, donated $5,000 to establish a Melissa and Doug toys classroom at Lakeland Learning Center, 1205 N. Long Drive, Syracuse. The announcement was made with a special guest, Jackie Walorski. Walorski is the Republican candidate for United States Congress for the Indiana Second District.
The use of these toys provides students with a good start to brain development and motor skill development.
The center strongly believes that their teachers are there to teach and not simply provide childcare.
