Victoria S. Boraker
Victoria S. Boraker, 50, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:18 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 12, 1962, in Chula Vista, Calif., to Mernette Stalter and Roberta (Dawson) McCreadie. On Oct. 5, 1991, she was married in Everett, Wash., to Daniel “Dan” Robert Boraker, who survives.
Victoria graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School in Lynnwood, Wash., living in Washington State for a number of years. She also lived in Texas prior to moving to Warsaw in 2005. She has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past seven years, and served as the past vice-president of the Farmer’s Market in Warsaw. Her passion was gardening, cooking, and was very active in the local farmer’s market.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Daniel “Dan” Robert Boraker, Warsaw; three daughters: Jessica Stalter, Marysville, Wash.; Corrin (Dominic) Sheets, Granite Falls, Wash.; Adrienne Rutherford, Marysville, Wash.; one son: Aaron Lee, Issaquah, Wash.; four grandchildren; her mother: Roberta McCreadie, Houston, Texas; one sister: Ninette (Lloyd) Sikes, Hempstead, Texas; two brothers: Cary Stalter, Houston, Texas, and Tony (Marisa) Stalter, Spring, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Friends may gather between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, at the home of Jeff and Cindy Stier, 5522 E. McKenna Road, Warsaw, where a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor James Lipkin.
