Earl J. ‘E.J.’ Campbell Jr.
Earl J. “E.J.” Campbell Jr., 57, of North Webster, Ind., passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born on April 22, 1955 in Bloomington, lll., to Earl J. and Betty Jean (Crawford) Campbell. He attended Bloomington High School in Bloomington and was a United States Marine. He moved to Indiana about 20 years ago from Illinois. He formerly worked at the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster where he was also a member.
Mr. Campbell is survived by: twin daughters: Mikel and Toby Campbell; daughter: Tessie Campbell; son: Jonathon Campbell; his father and step-mother: Earl and Delores Campbell; a sister: Etta Buckley; a brother: Frank Campbell; four half-sisters: Dolly Wilmoth, Tina Bush, Jackie Hoag and Cheryl Mays; a half-brother: Jimmy Hoag, Auburn, Ind.; two step-sisters: Velda Brown and Mary Trummell; two step-brothers: Darnell Williams and Mike Williams.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Epworth Forest Road, North Webster, Ind., with the American Legion Chaplin officiating. Military services will be performed by the North Webster American Legion Post 253.
Owen Family Funeral Home in North Webster is in charge of arrangements.
