The OrthoWorx Diversity Council congratulates Mary Redman of Warsaw, winner of a Nook Color e-Reader from the council’s April downtown Warsaw First Friday booth. Redman was among 80 entrants for the drawing.

“We’re pleased to be able to participate in First Fridays and to use the opportunity to spotlight the importance of diversity and inclusiveness to the overall vitality of our community,” stated Brad Bishop, executive director of OrthoWorx. “We look forward to hosting booths later this year in August, September and October.”

Visitors to the OrthoWorx Diversity Council booth were engaged in various activities, including spinning the Wheel of Diversity for fun facts about cultures around the world; speaking with Diversity Council members about cultures represented in our community; enjoying popcorn made in the booth and providing input about what they would like to see in the OrthoWorx Diversity Council booths in the future.

The OrthoWorx Diversity Council supports the OrthoWorx Community Enhancement Initiative. This initiative focuses on building upon, expanding and helping to promote the social, recreational and cultural offerings in the community.
