The Wawasee Property Owners Association today announced that Buckingham Companies has officially withdrawn its bid to purchase Oakwood in Syracuse.

In an email to WPOA members, President Mark Knecht confirmed that Receiver Ian Rolland received a letter from Buckingham withdrawing their offer to purchase the property.  In a phone conversation between Rolland and Knecht, Rolland was said not to have been surprised at the decision but believes Buckingham may still rebid on the property at a later date.
