Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24, South CR 250E, west of East Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Driver: William T. Hamilton, 54, South CR 250E, Warsaw. Hamilton reported damage to his vehicle, of which he was unsure how it had occurred. Damage: Up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 10:25 p.m. Thursday, July 28, North Parker Street and Walter Way, Warsaw. Drivers: Shane M. Ostendorf, 36, Walter Way, Warsaw; and Zebadiah J. Stills, 17, North Walnut Street, Etna Green. Ostendorf didn’t see Stills’ vehicle and pulled out in front of it. Ostendorf’s vehicle hit Stills’. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 6:16 p.m. Thursday, July 28, North Detroit Street, south of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Rachel A. Bright, 33, South Michigan Street, Plymouth; and Brianna R. Turek, 20, Rutland Court, Winona Lake. Bright’s and Turek’s vehicles collided. Turek and a passenger in her vehicle both complained of head pain. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 4:32 p.m. Thursday, July 28, South SR 15 and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Cabrina M. Randels, 64, Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake; and Sergio T. Vera, 44, Mazalin Drive, Shorewood, Ill. Randels was in a hurry to get to an appointment. She tried to pass Vera’s vehicle on the left, and her vehicle hit the trailer of his vehicle. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 4 p.m. Thursday, July 28, East Winona Avenue and South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jessianna V. Cox, 23, East Main Street, Warsaw; Juan C. Terrazas, 22, Wexford Place, Warsaw; and Jennifer L. Prater, 45, West Union Street, Claypool. Cox’s and Terrazas’ vehicles collided, which then caused Terrazas’ vehicle to hit Prater’s. Cox was checked out by medics, but refused further treatment. Damage: Up to $25,000.
