Wrensley Swihart
Wrensley Jordan-Michael Swihart, three months, died July 17, 2022, at home. He was born March 31, 2022, the son of Chassidy Swihart.
Wrensley is survived by his parents, Chassidy Swihart and Darren Corbett, Akron; and Dennis Bradley, Warsaw and Jaren Swihart; three sisters, Meaka Swihart, Issabella Corbett and Marlee Corbett; two brothers, Trigger Swihart and Kase Swihart; great-grandparents, Linda and Richard Powers, South Bend, Elmon and Charlotte Bays, Silver Lake and Mike Corbett, Walkerton; grandparents, Tara and Rodney Bays, Larwill, Kelli and Jerry Corbett, North Liberty and Rick and Mary Bradley, Sidney; along with several aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Katherine and Donegal McCormick, Lester and Geraldine Bays and Norma Corbett; and grandparent, Rocky Devon Bays.
Wrensley loved sunbathing in the grass on a comfy blanket, being held by all of his sibling and family members, cuddling with mom and dad and smiling and cooing while being talked to by family and friends.
Wrensley faced many medical difficulties after birth, but even during these times Wrensley always remained a happy, bouncy, baby boy whose lighthearted spirit infectiously impacted everyone who came in contact with him. Lovingly known to his mom as “Buddy Bear,” Wrensley will live forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Wrensley’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Warsaw Missionary Church, 1849 E. Springhill Road, Warsaw. Grandpa Rick Bradley will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date.
Family and friends will be received from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Those who wish to honor Wrensley in a special way are invited to bring teddy bears or a comfy blanket to leave with him.
