WARSAW – This year’s reconfigured Lakes Festival in Warsaw drew a sizeable crowd to Center Lake in Warsaw Saturday, July 9.
The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams hosted a series of educational booths this year at Central Park, but other activities were turned over to the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department.
Numerous activities for children included an aqua glide in the lake and a wall climbing wall
A handful of blues bands, including Jake Kershaw, performed nearby at the Glover Pavilion in Central Park.
Some of the activities were popular at the Lakes Festival.
An “aqua glide” had a steady flow of participants Saturday at Center Lake.
Numerous groups had tents and information about lakes and the environment at Saturday’s festival.
