NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 30, at Heart of the Lakes Antique Mall in North Webster.
Owners Matt Young and Shannon Perkins are very excited about serving their customers in Kosciusko County and beyond. When asked what inspired him to purchase Heart of the Lakes Antique Mall, Young said, “This used to be my mom’s favorite store and she passed away. When the store came up for sale, I purchased it.”
Young and Perkins are both looking forward to doing business in North Webster. Young grew up in the area, moved away, and then decided to come back. He said, “It’s great to be back in the area.”
Perkins said, “We’re excited to be in this area and continue the tradition of people coming into the store and we’re ready to find out more about what North Webster is all about.”
Young said, “We have stayed pretty busy so far and we have had a good amount of people check out our store. We have over 100 booths, 70-plus dealers, and 10,000 square feet of antiques and collectibles.”
Heart of The Lakes Antique Mall offers a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, and nautical decor and is located at 132 N. Main St. (SR 13), North Webster.
The mall’s business hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
