Grace To Host Charis Fellowship’s Access Conference
News Release
WINONA LAKE — Grace College & Theological Seminary is hosting the Charis Fellowship’s 2022 Access Conference.
The national conference, to be held Thursday, July 14, through Sunday, July 17, serves as a celebration of how God is working through the fellowship’s ministries worldwide and is open to all friends of Grace College including alumni, students, faculty and staff.
“We are thrilled to bring the conference back to Winona Lake this year as we consider the essential value of Biblical relationships,” said Dr. John Teevan, interim president at Grace. “Grace College is a backdrop where many Gospel-centric relationships are formed in the Fellowship, and countless of those relationships continue to link arms for the sake of making disciples today.”
The Charis Fellowship, formerly known as the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, is a family of approximately 250 interdependent churches and ministries in the United States and Canada that share a commitment to Biblical truth, Biblical relationship and Biblical mission. Grace College & Theological Seminary is one of the many ministries established through the encouragement and support of the Charis Fellowship churches.
The Access Conference will begin with a kickoff event on the evening of July 14 to be organized by Momentum Ministry Partners. The following three days of the conference will include various workshops, celebrations and sponsored meals hosted by fellowship ministries including, Assist Church Expansion, Inspire Pastors Network and Charis Women, Grace College & Theological Seminary, Encompass World Partners, Eagle Commission, Momentum Ministry Partners and Grace Brethren Investment Foundation.
The conference will culminate on Sunday afternoon with a lakeside picnic at Winona Lake Limitless Park. Various water activities and outdoor games will be available, including rides on the Grace boat.
“This conference is a key opportunity to celebrate what God is doing, form relational connections and learn about various ministry ideas and resources,” said Phil Sparling, executive director of the Charis Fellowship. “Come be encouraged and equipped to improve your relationships — with Jesus, other ministry leaders, the lost and those closest to you. I guarantee an improvement in your relationships will lead to an improvement in your ministry.”
