Dozens of youngsters gaped wide-eyed at gargantuan agricultural and municipal vehicles and muscled the steering wheels of tractors, ambulances and dump trucks at Wawasee High School Key Club’s annual Touch-a-Truck event held Saturday, May 7, in the parking lot of Syracuse Elementary School.
Other vehicles included a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s truck, school bus, John Deere gator, concrete truck and Lippert day cab.
The event was held in conjunction with the neighboring car show, held in the parking lot of the Syracuse Eagles Aerie 3760 adjacent to the school’s property.
A fuller article of the event will appear in the Wednesday, May 11, edition of The Mail-Journal.
