Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
- 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, North CR 200E, west of East CR 900N, Milford. Driver: Cherokee D. Sizemore, 40, East Center Street, Warsaw. Sizemore’s vehicle hit two deer. Her vehicle then ran off the roadway and into a ditch, flipping onto the driver’s side. She stated her leg was injured during the crash and medics checked her out. Damage: Up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 3:26 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, SR 15 and West CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Paul A. Whitford, 34, Lillian Street, Avilla; and Karen S. Bartley, 63, West North Street, Milford. Whitford said he really wasn’t paying attention and didn’t brake until the last second. He then braked hard, but his vehicle hit Bartley’s. Damage: Up to $5,000.
- 7:58 a.m. Monday, April 25, US 30 and South CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Allison M. Dubbeld, 19, South Ridgeview Court, Warsaw; and Brandon M. Watson, 40, West Main Street, Mentone. Dubbeld didn’t see Watson’s vehicle traveling beside her. She changed lanes and her vehicle hit Watson’s. Damage: Up to $5,000.
- 7:39 a.m. Sunday, April 24, US 30 and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Charles M. Poe, 26, Maple Grove Boulevard, Kendallville; and Karim Zihiri, 55, Camden Forrest Drive, Riverdale, Ga. Poe said his foot slipped off the brake pedal when he was approaching the intersection. His vehicle hit Zihiri’s, Damage: Up to $5,000.
