Leona Stutzman
Leona Stutzman, 90, Nappanee, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born on July 15, 1931, in Nappanee. On March 15, 1951, she married Marvin Stutzman in Milford. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2022, after almost 71 years of marriage.
She is survived by nine children: Rose (Vern) Borkholder, Nappanee; Anne (Rick) Stevens, Goshen; Dick (Connie) Stutzman, Nappanee; Cara (Glenn) Yoder, Nappanee; Janet (Steve) Hoover, Elkhart; Royce (Amy) Stutzman, New Paris; Bob (Anita) Stutzman, New Paris; Mark Stutzman, Nappanee; and Mitch (Reba) Stutzman, Millersburg; 27 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren with another expected in July; a sister: Fannie Mae (Ralph) Stichter, Elkhart; a brother: Bill (Carol) Kuhns, Elkhart; and two sisters-in-law: Pat Kuhns, Nappanee; and Esther Kuhns, Trego, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson: Jordan Stutzman; great-grandson: Luke Stutzman; five brothers: Albert, Obed, John, Manas and Menno Jr. Kuhns; and four sisters: Elizabeth Schrock, Martha Kuhns, Alick Yoder, and Edna Yoder.
