Michael G. Meck
Michael G. Meck, 75, Warsaw, died Monday, April 4, 2022.
Mike was born in Warsaw on July 9, 1946, the son of (the late) Robert and Jane (Irwin) Meck.
He graduated from Leesburg High School with the Class of 1964 and then attended Manchester College, earning his degree in accounting.
On July 24, 1965, Mike married Wendy (Robison) Meck in Sacred Heart Catholic Church; she survives after 56 years of marriage.
Mike was the founder and owner of Meck’s Whispering Pines; he also enjoyed working with his son in their family hay business. Mike was a member of the Wabash Hog Chapter; he enjoyed woodworking and restoring older homes.
He was always devoted to his family and especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
In addition to Wendy, Mike is also survived by his daughters, Lori Svinarich and Candi (Brian) Bibler; son Sam (Amy) Meck; grandchildren Noah, Holly and Megan Meck, Logan and John Svinarich, Becky, and Bradley Bibler, all of Warsaw; and his sister, Carol Shaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Richard Svinarich.
The service for Mike will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is handling arrangements.
