Marvin M. Stutzman
Marvin M. Stutzman, 91 of Nappanee, made his triumphant entry into heaven at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, after a brief illness.
Marvin was born Oct. 28, 1930, in Nappanee to Monroe and Tillie (Stutzman) Stutzman and he lived his entire lifetime in the Nappanee area.
On March 15, 1951 Marvin married Leona Kuhns in Milford.
Mr. Stutzman is a former pastor and also worked as a dairy farmer. He is also the former owner and co-founder of Yoder Stutzman, Inc. in Nappanee. Marvin attended Nappanee Missionary Church. H
e is survived by his wife of almost 71 years, Leona Stutzman of Nappanee; nine children: Rose (Vern) Borkholder of Nappanee; Anne (Rick) Stevens of Goshen; Dick (Connie) Stutzman of Nappanee; Cara (Glenn) Yoder of Nappanee; Janet (Steve) Hoover of Elkhart; Royce (Amy) Stutzman of New Paris; Bob (Anita) Stutzman of New Paris; Mark Stutzman of Nappanee; and Mitch (Reba) Stutzman of Millersburg; 27 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and one brother, Edward (Esther) Stutzman of Nappanee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jordan Stutzman; great grandson, Luke Stutzman; two sisters, Mary Miller and Wilma Yoder; and one brother, Gilbert Stutzman.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, March 10, at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel and for one hour prior to 10 a.m. funeral services in the Nappanee Missionary Church Worship Center on Friday, March 11, with Rev. Ed Bontrager officiating. Burial will follow services at Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
Memorial contributions can be given in Marvin’s name to Nappanee Missionary Church Missions.
