Scott A. Krieg — UPDATED
Scott A. Krieg, 50, Syracuse, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born on July 13, 1971, in Mishawaka, to William and Betty (Wickler) Krieg.
He graduated from Mishawaka High School and attended Ivy Tech in Warsaw. He grew up in South Bend and moved to Syracuse several years ago. He was married on Aug. 19, 2017, in Syracuse, to Janet K. (Pollard) McDonald, who survives. He was employed at Alexander Dennis Bus Co. in Nappanee for 10+ years. He formerly worked at Gulf Stream in Nappanee, Fairmount Homes in Nappanee, and Krieg & Son’s Electric in South Bend.
He is survived by his wife: Janet Krieg, Syracuse; daughter: Lindsay Krieg, North Webster; two grandsons; parents: Bill (Betty) Krieg, South Bend; brother: Tony (Debbie) Krieg, Springhill, Tenn.; four stepchildren: Brittney Timmons, Middlebury; Krystina Ponder, Warsaw; Derek Timmons, North Webster; and Khloe McDonald, Syracuse; and seven step-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held.
Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
