Bell Memorial Library To Host Winter Reading Challenge

MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library in Mentone is hosting a Winter Reading Challenge.
Sign-up begins on Monday, Jan. 31, and it’s open to all ages. The program runs from Tuesday, Feb. 1-Thursday, March 31.

Library activities
- Adult Creative Corner takes place from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18. This month, crafters can make winter-themed painted wine glass tea light holders. The cost is $5, and people should sign up in advance. Creative Corner is for ages 18 and up only.
- Lego Club is 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20. For more information, contact Natalie Salazar at 574-893-3200.
- Needlecraft Night is 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20.
- Preschool story hour is every Friday except holidays beginning at 10 a.m. Children listen to a few stories, sing songs and create a craft project.

Hoopla Digital
The following titles are now streaming on Hoopla Digital: “Butcher Pen Road” by Kris Lackey; and “Close Again” by Ella Frances Sanders. Teens and children can browse these titles: “Winnie the Pooh” by A.A. Milne; and “One Magical Night in the Enchanted Woods” by S.A. Trimby.
