Gloria J. Paseka, 71, of rural Etna Green, passed unexpectedly at 7:56 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at her residence.

Gloria was born on July 27, 1950, in Warsaw, to the late Joe Eugene and Ruth M. (Long) Tucker. She married on June 28, 1970, in the Harrison Center Church of Etna Green, to Carl M. Paseka, who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2008.

She was a 1968 graduate of Mentone High School.  She then earned her cosmetology degree from Ravenscroft Beauty College of Fort Wayne. Gloria operated her own beauty shop for many years. In addition to her shop, she worked for R.R.Donnelley & Sons for over 30 years.  She loved working in her flower garden, sewing, and quilting. Gloria was an accomplished watercolor artist, winning many local awards for her work. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Gloria is survived by her son Andrew and wife Meagan Paseka of Convoy, Ohio; grandchildren Kylee Walton, Cory Walton, Michael Paseka, Jacob Dixon, and Ethan, Emiley, and Carlee Paseka; 5 Great Grandchildren; siblings Steve and wife Kathy Tucker of Mentone, Cathy Tucker-Ellis of Indianapolis, and Kerry and wife Keni of Etna Green; as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Ruth Tucker, husband Carl, daughters Heather Paseka and Stephanie J. Dixon.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana with Pastor Phil Pratt officiating. 

The interment will take place in the Harrison Center Cemetery of rural Etna Green, Indiana next to her husband and daughters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker St. Mentone, Indiana.
