Multiple Fire Departments Respond To Friday Night Fire At Palette Restaurant

WARSAW — Multiple fire and police departments responded to a fire at Palette Restaurant in Warsaw on Friday, Dec. 17.
Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was dispatched to a report of a fire in the roof area of the Palette Restaurant, which is connected to the Wyndham Hotel at 2519 E. Center St., Warsaw.
According to a Facebook post by WWFT, “fire crews were able to stop the spread of the fire from growing farther on the outside and kept it out of the interior of the restaurant.”
“Guests were evacuated by law enforcement on scene and there were no injuries,” continues the post. “Investigation continues of the fire’s cause.”

Board-up crews were still on scene as of 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.
WWFT was assisted by multiple agencies, including the Winona Lake Fire Department, Plain Township Fire Department, Pierceton Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw City Public Works, Silver Lake Fire Department, Burket Fire Department and Turkey Creek Fire Territory.
More information on the fire’s cause will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
