Friends Of Syracuse Library Host Luncheon
News Release
SYRACUSE — The Kimmell House Inn hosted a wonderful holiday luncheon for the Friends of the Syracuse Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 2. Fourteen members attended and had a wonderful time. They enjoyed a delicious lunch of quiche, fruit, scones, potato casserole and cinnamon rolls.
The Kimmell Inn, located on US 33, was built in 1876, and Friends member Allyson Ellis stated, “It serves as a bed-and-breakfast and catering/luncheon venue. It is such a charming, historical home!”
The Friends will take January and February off from meetings and meet again at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3. In the meantime, browse the Friends’ ongoing book sale upstairs at the library.
