Therapy dogs Mindy and Irish will be taking a break for the holidays from Paws-to-Read after next week. Reading appointments are still being accepted for Mindy 4:15 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13 and the same times for Irish Wednesday, Dec. 15. Sign your child up for a private reading session with Mindy or Irish and wish them a well-deserved holiday rest. Both dogs are expected to return to the library in January.
The last session for Chair Yoga will be Wednesday, Dec. 15. Instructor Heather Barron encourages participants to continue practicing yoga at home to increase their strength, balance and flexibility as part of a healthy lifestyle.
