ROCHESTER — The Mentone Flying Club, based at the Fulton County Airport in Rochester, is offering a free private pilot ground school over the winter at the Fulton County Airport.

The nine-week private pilot ground school begins Jan. 20. Classes meet weekly on Thursday nights from 7-10 p.m. at the Rochester airport terminal building.

Kevin Morrison is the flight instructor who teaches the class.
