Avoid CR 29 North Of Syracuse

SYRACUSE — CR 29, north of Syracuse between County Line Road and CR 56 is closed to all traffic until at least Tuesday evening. The area is located just north of Syracuse and is a main traveled road.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory has been in the area since 3 p.m. Monday after an 8-inch gas line was broken. Mickey Scott, fire chief, stated they have been advised it would take a minimum of 36 hours to repair the broken line.
Motorists should use an alternate route and avoid the area.
