Leah White
Leah White, 82, of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at Paddock Springs Senior Living, Warsaw.
Born on Sept. 21, 1939, in Canton, Ohio, Leah was the daughter of James and Maxine (Marshall) Cozy. She was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” White on April 18, 1964, who preceded her in passing on January 31, 2005.
Leah was a dog lover, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and taking walks. She liked celebrating the holidays, with her favorite being July 4. She loved living by and being on the lake. Leah enjoyed many years of playing bridge, golf and tennis with her family and friends. She formerly was a member of Welcome Wagon, Tri Kappa, Winning Over Widowhood (W.O.W.), St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, and she attended the Warsaw citizens police academy.
Leah is lovingly remembered by her children: Michael White (Tammy), Vicki Sasso (Andy), and Amy Gutierrez (David); grandchildren: Dr. Emily England, Alex White, Matthew Sasso, Dr. Erica Wight, Jacqueline Sasso, Lauren Sasso, Joseph Gutierrez, and Leah Gutierrez; as well as her siblings: Linda Fritsch and Jim Cozy.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw has been entrusted with arrangements for the family.
