Anita Stump
Anita Stump, Silver Lake, passed away unexpectedly at 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, at the age of 62. She is now at rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1959, in Warsaw, to Mary Belle (McCool) Webster and James Edward Chandler. In January of 1982 she was married to Jack D. Stump and they shared 39 years together before she passed away.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1978 graduate of Whitko High School in South Whitley. She had worked at R.R. Donnelley’s in Warsaw and drove the bus for Warsaw Community Schools. Her two most important jobs were simply being mom and of course the keeper of her husband, Jack. She could never pass up a good garage sale, and she loved canning…and canned everything but the kitchen sink.
She was a member of Sweetwater Assembly of God in North Manchester. She loved the Lord and her church family. She lived a full life and always had more love to give to her family and especially her grandchildren. She will forever be loved and remembered as a loving wife, mother, doting aunt and grandmother and a very special sister. She was a beautiful singer and the sound of her voice and smile will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.
She leaves behind her husband: Jack D. Stump, Silver Lake; and several step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother: Buddy (Patricia) Chandler, Pierceton; three sisters: Mary Sue (Jim) Conley, North Webster; Kathy Parsons, Birmingham, Ala.; and Connie Chandler, South Whitley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son: Matthew Chandler Stump in 1981.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Anita’s life at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at a graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, and officiated by Pastor Jeremy Jones. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sweetwater Assembly of God 2551 IN-114, North Manchester, IN 46962.
