CASA To Host Holiday Festival
News Release
WARSAW — Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Kosciusko County will host their annual Holiday Festival on Friday, Nov. 12.
The event is 6-10 p.m. at the Image Air Charter hangar at the Warsaw Municipal Airport. CASA is pleased to again host guests from its corporate sponsors, business leaders and other CASA supporters from Northern Indiana.
This year’s theme, “Making a Difference,” is inspired by the Starfish Story by Loren Eiseley. As the hangar is transformed into the ocean and ocean coastline, guests will enjoy a meal prepared by some of Kosciusko County’s restaurants. There will be wine on the table and a cash bar with additional beverages, including some tropical specialty drinks.
There will also be an underwater virtual reality “special experience” and a silent and live auction.
CASA of Kosciusko County is a nonprofit organization committed to speaking in the best interests of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect. CASA recruits, trains and supports volunteers to serve as advocates for children in the family court system. Support at this year’s event will enable CASA of Kosciusko County to continue to provide the quality training and support needed for CASA volunteers to be the eyes and ears of the court and voice of children who have suffered abuse or neglect.
“I am continually awed and inspired by our CASA volunteers,” said CASA of Kosciusko County Executive Director Erin Rowland Jones. “Their commitment to being a consistent, caring adult for the most vulnerable children in our community is making a difference one family at a time.”
