Boys Soccer
Class 1-A
Westview 4, Providence 2
Summary: Westview (17-5) wins its first-ever soccer championship, scoring two goals in overtime. Jadon Yoder scored twice in regulation and Mohammed Aamer had the go-ahead goal and Teague Mishler recorded a goal and an assist for the Warriors. Luke Jorden had both goals for Providence.
Class 2-A
Brebeuf 3, West Lafayette 1
Summary: Brebeuf (13-7-2) broke through with its first boys soccer state title.
Class 3-A
Noblesville 3, Carmel 1
Summary: The Miners (20-1-1) nabbed its first-ever soccer crown, knocking out the powerhouse Greyhounds.
Girls Soccer
Class 1-A
Heritage Christian 4, Andrean 0
Summary: Abby Foulk netted a hat trick as HC (15-8) brings home its first girls soccer title.
Class 2-A
Evansville Memorial 1, Mishawaka Marian 0
Summary: Ella Hamner potted the game’s only goal in overtime as Memorial (20-3-1) topped Marian.
Class 3-A
Homestead 2, Carmel 1
Summary: The Spartans (22-0) capped off its undefeated season with a win over the Greyhounds, securing its first girls soccer title.
