Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 8:21 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, North CR 700W, south of West CR 100N, Atwood. Driver: Cassandra K. Secor, 32, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Secor was traveling southbound on CR 700W, Atwood, and was unable to see a tree that had fallen across the roadway because of oncoming headlights. Her vehicle hit the tree. Secor was taken by ambulance to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for pain in her left arm and toe. Damage up to $10,000.
- 5:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, SR 14, North Manchester. Driver: Shanna L. Sellers, 40, West Fifth Street, North Manchester. Sellers’ vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
- 2:04 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, East CR 800N, east of SR 13, North Webster. Drivers: Michelle Wunder, 44, North CR 650E, Pierceton; and William K. Sturch, 70, Adams Avenue, Peru. Wunder’s vehicle rear-ended a boat on a trailer being pulled by Sturch’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 7:16 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, SR 15 and Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Dawn R. Bradley, 50, Van Buren Street, Leesburg; and William D. Hyden, 52, West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Bradley complained of head pain. Hyden complained of neck and shoulder pain and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Damage up to $50,000.
- 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, US 30 and Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Gabriel M. Plew, 44, North CR 925E, North Webster; and Tonya S. Enyeart, 52, West CR 1400N, North Manchester. Plew’s vehicle rear-ended Enyeart’s vehicle. Enyeart complained of neck pain. Damage up to $10,000.
- 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, Dwight Drive and West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Kennedy J. Patton, 22, Santorini Drive, Warsaw; and Patricia A. Bumgardner, 65, Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw. Patton’s vehicle rear-ended Bumgardner’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
- 7:34 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, Logan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Gerald S. Ulrey, 69, West CR 700S, Claypool; and Quentin J. Maahs, 17, Old Farm Road, Warsaw. Ulrey was pulling out of an access road leaving Edgewood Middle School and entered the path of Maahs’ vehicle, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $5,000.
- 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, Silveus Crossing, north of US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Sterling L. Watkins, 65, North Bay Drive, Warsaw; and Hanna N. Surface, 25, Washington Street, Mentone. Watkins was making a U-turn when his vehicle collided with Suface’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, SR 110 and CR 50W, Rochester. Driver: Neosha L. Thompson, 30, Rochester. Thompson’s vehicle struck a tree that had fallen across the eastbound lane.
- 6:06 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, US 31 and CR 450N, Rochester. Driver: Adam J. Peppler, 39, Rochester. Hit deer.
- 4:18 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Heather R. Lincoln, 42, Logansport. Lincoln’s jeep rolled over into a yard. No injuries were reported.
- 8:51 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, CR 775W, Kewanna. Driver: Austin J. Foster, 22, Kewanna. Foster’s vehicle went off the road and struck a barn. No injuries were reported.
- 8:06 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, CR 750S, Macy. Driver: Randy P. Zatman, 68, Macy. Hit deer.
- 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, SR 25, Rochester. Drivers: Marshal N. Troutner, 25, Rochester; Matthew S. Coleman, 44, Logansport; and James R. Reed, 56, Macy. A chain reaction accident.
- 2:39 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, SR 25, Rochester. Driver: Matthew Mappin. Mappin’s vehicle went off the road causing damage to the vehicle.
