Warsaw Family Loses Home In Sunday Morning Fire
Staff Report
WARSAW — A Warsaw family has lost their home in a fire.
It happened about 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at 4063 W. CR 100S, Warsaw. Atwood Fire Chief Chad Heckaman said the home was “fully engulfed” when firefighters arrived.
The family made it out safely, he said, and no firefighters were injured fighting the blaze. According to Kosciusko County Beacon GIS, the home is owned by Johnny E. Frame II.
It took several hours to get it under control. Atwood received a full assist from Burket Fire Department and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory sent a tanker.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family, said Heckaman. The fire is still being investigated, but Heckaman said it’s not suspicious.
