Gerald P. “Toad” Hepler, 74, Milford, died at 6:52 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence.

He was born March 25, 1947, to Elmer and Florence (Marquart) Hepler in Warsaw. On May 27, 1978, he married Linda Bricker in Nappanee. She preceded him in death April 25, 2013.

Surviving are his two children: Tiffany (Chad) Nolin of Milford; and Travis (Nicole) Hepler of Buchanan, Mich.; stepdaughter, Staci (Jason) Locke of Leesburg; three grandchildren: Everleigh Nolin, Mason Hepler and Mila Hepler; one step-granddaughter, Brianna (Noah) Santoyo; brother, Robert Hepler of Syracuse; and sisters: Marilyn Shaw of Florida; Ruthie (Bert) Manges of Bremen; and Delores Hepler of Goshen.
