The Salvation Army To Celebrate 100 Years In County

WARSAW — The Salvation Army is celebrating 100 years in Kosciusko County.
It will have an Open House from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Worship and Community Center, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw. The public is welcome to attend.
This event is in cooperation with the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce as an “After Hours” event. There will be dessert, networking and a drawing for a chance to win $100 in Kosciusko Cash.
The Salvation Army was established in February 1921 by Major and Mrs. Fred Harvey. The first office was in the Warsaw City Hall.
