Council On Aging Appoints New Board Member

ELKHART—The Council on Aging of Elkhart County Inc., which provides services for those who are aging or disabled in Elkhart County, recently appointed a new member to its board of directors.
“We are delighted to welcome Andrew (Andy) Myers to our board, as we expand our organization to meet the demand of a growing senior population in the county, in support of both the client and their families,” said CoA CEO David Toney. “Andy brings a considerable amount of experience from both the business and nonprofit community, he’ll be instrumental in our missions’ success.”
Myers is the directing broker with Myers Trust Real Estate. As a broker he has experience in residential, commercial and industrial transactions.
Before being elected to the board, Myers was the president of the Elkhart County Board of Realtors, past deacon board chair at the Sugar Grove Church, current board member of Lifeline of Elkhart County and board member of the Goshen Rotary.
He has more than 19 years of experience in the community which has allowed him a vast array of expertise in helping someone with their first home to developing large industrial campuses. In addition to real estate brokerage and development, Myers is assisting in the local housing shortage by building homes.
