Clubs, Sports Teams Participate In Wawasee’s Homecoming Parade

SYRACUSE—Wawasee High School’s homecoming parade was held Friday afternoon, Sept. 24. The parade began at Polar Kraft Boats and traveled along Chicago Street and finished at Syracuse Elementary.
The king and queen contestants were among the participants of the parade, with each couple wearing matching color attire. The contestants included: Giselle Vega, Brynn Jamora, Isaias Benitez, Kennedy White, Devon Kuhn, Kia Jamora and Colten Edgar. Other participants in the parade included Wawasee FFA; Wawasee Performing Arts cast for “Guys and Dolls;” volleyball, golf and cross country teams; cheerleaders and the marching band.
While the parade did not have any specific theme, the Wawasee Cheer Block theme for the night was “Extreme Green and Gold.”
The winners of the title homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime of the homecoming game against Plymouth High School.
