Dianna Jean Shoemaker
Dianna Jean Shoemaker, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 10:02 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. Born on July 12, 1945, in Milford, Dianna was daughter of Bevon and Bertha (Mishler) Crafton.
She was a 1963 graduate of Milford High School and a lifetime resident of Indiana. After retiring from Marsh Supermarket in Warsaw she volunteered her time at the VFW Post #1126 every Sunday morning and was an active member of the Moose Lodge. Dianna loved crocheting, gardening and especially loved being a mother and a grandmother.
Dianna is survived by her three children: Todd (Theresa) Shoemaker of Warsaw; Cheryl (Brian) Spratt of Silver Lake; Jennifer (Matt) Powell of Ocala, Fla.; brother, James (Norma) Crafton; her fourteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by both of her parents, her husband Gary Shoemaker, and her granddaughter, Aurora.
A visitation is planned from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, in the funeral chapel. Chaplain Johnny Butler will be officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
