Audience Members Are Judges At Elkhart Library Short Film Fest

ELKHART – The viewers are the judges during the free Manhattan Short Film Festival on Sept. 25 hosted by Elkhart Public Library at the Elkhart Environmental Center.
At 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, EPL will host the Manhattan Short Film Festival, an international short film festival where the audience also serves as the judges.
The event will be outside at the Elkhart Environmental Center, 1717 E. Lusher Ave., in Elkhart. The public is invited to screen ten short films and vote on their favorite. All ten finalists are eligible to be nominated in the Academy Awards’ short film category.
The ten films represent eight countries including the US, Canada, France, UK, Italy and Afghanistan. All of the films are less than 20 minutes in run time.
Kona Ice and Dutch Kernel will be at the Environmental Center serving snacks during the screenings. Attendees are asked to bring blankets or camp chairs for seating.
