WARSAW — Derek Wray hopes to provide good customer service while fixing damaged electronics.
“(I) want to have a place where people come here and they’re happy with their services and they’re getting a good price,” he said. “I’m constantly learning and furthering my knowledge and experience.”
The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting for Wray’s business Renewed Tech Repair on Tuesday, Aug. 31. It’s located at 1824 E. Market St., Warsaw.
The business was previously known as Village Geeks and opened in 2018. Wray acquired it shortly thereafter.
Wray repairs all sorts of electronics, including phones and computers.
“Mainly screen repair, battery repair, small parts repair,” he said of the services he provides. He also does some repair of larger devices, but no bigger than 32-inch ones as he doesn’t have much room for storage.
“I do a lot of laptop and computer upgrades,” he added. His store also has products for sale, including phone cases.
Wray hopes to hire a few employees and move the business to a more visible location in the future.
For now, customers can stop by the store from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
