MILFORD — Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of SR 15 and CR 900N in Milford for a two-vehicle collision at 5:39 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27.
According to a press release sent out by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, deputies determined that Patsy Kline, 71, of Etna Green, was stopped on CR 900N at SR 15, preparing to cross the intersection westbound while Sandra Calderon, 24, of Warsaw, was traveling northbound on SR 15, approaching CR 900N.
As Kline began to travel through the intersection, she entered Calderon’s path of travel. The front of Caleron’s Chevrolet Trax struck the front driver’s side corner of Kline’s Honda Pilot, which exited the northwest corner of the intersection and struck a fence.
Kline was extricated from her vehicle and transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by Lutheran EMS for the treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.
Calderon and three minor children in her vehicle were treated and released at the scene.
