The Warriors made easy work of the host Lakers Wednesday evening.
Wawasee lost just six points to Lakeland among its five court wins, led by a shutout from Holden Babb at one singles and 6-1, 6-0 victories by Zeke Keim as well as the No. 2 doubles team of Devon Kuhn and Ty Brooks.
Joey Harper won love and two and No. 2, and Grant Brooks and Blaine Baut won two and love at No. 1 doubles.
Wawasee won all four JV courts, achieved by Jay Duncan, Jeb Richey, Will Long and Caden Pratt.
Elkhart 4, NorthWood 1
The Lions held their ground at home against the visiting Panthers.
Wes Steiner had the lone NorthWood tally, a 6-3, 7-6 (2) win at No. 3 over Nikolai Westall.
Elkhart countered with a one and one win from Brad Walker at No. 1 singles over Charles Anderson. Both of its doubles teams were pushed Matt DeShone and Gianni Luccese winning 6-4, 7-6 (3) against Brady Chupp and Chaz Yoder, and Ethan Leazenby and Brady Kelly winning 7-5, 6-1 over Nic Anderson and Karson Kirby. Kam Kast added a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win over Issac Roberts.
Elkhart won 11 of the 12 JV courts, Logan Perry and Joe Hahn the lone breakout for the Panther undercard.
Huntington North 3, Warsaw 1
A rain-shortened contest had the Vikings take three courts to guarantee the team win with the fifth court canceled due to rain.
