William ‘Bill’ Spurlock
William “Bill” Spurlock, 76, Warsaw, passed away Aug. 17, 2021. Bill was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. and entered the United States Airforce after graduating from Warsaw High School in 1963. Bill was married to Rosemary, his wife of 54 years, in Banbury, England in April 1967.
Bill retired from Zimmer after 35 years of employment and was a long-time member of First Christian Church of Warsaw where he has served as both an elder and a deacon and ministered to others by regularly visiting the elderly and home-bound and taking communion to those who were unable to attend church service in person.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend. He loved to travel, make model airplanes, ride his bicycle, and enjoy his daily cup of English tea.
Bill is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his daughter, Keri; his mother, Betty; his brother, Mike; his sister, Kris, his nieces Tricia and Sara, and his great-nieces Erja and Amber. He was predeceased by his father, Vernon, and his sister, Robin.
A private memorial service will be held for Bill at First Christian Church in Warsaw. Pastor Matthew Rogers will be officiating the services.
