Dennis D. Ross — UPDATED
Dennis D. Ross, 75, Pierceton, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his home.
He was born on May 20, 1946, in Warsaw, to Dale Dean and Donna Jean (Cartwright) Ross.
He was a lifetime area resident, graduated in 1964 from North Webster High School, and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on April 4, 1970, in Poneto, to Kathy L. Sills, who survives. He retired from Dana Corporation in Syracuse after 28 years and formerly worked at Dale Ross Dry Wall in Warsaw for several years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy Ross, Pierceton; two daughters: Sherry (Mike) Caverley, Warsaw; and Denise (Don) Brown, Goshen; son: Jason Ross, Pierceton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; mother: Donna Ross, Warsaw; and two sisters: Linda (Darell) Shull, Warsaw; and Patricia (Joe) Stump, Pierceton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Military graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, in the Salem Cemetery at Wilmot. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
