Linda Louise Wells, 75, Wabash, died 6:43 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 23, 1945, in Johnson County, Ky., to William Riley and Margaret Marie (Bailey) Rowland.
Linda married John Paul Wells in Wabash Aug. 4, 1965; he died May 30, 2014. She worked at Dana in Andrews over 10 years. Linda was a member of the Christian Heritage Church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed going on car rides, fishing with John, and picnics in the country. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Johnetta Lutz and Margaret “Maggie” King, both of Wabash; five grandchildren: Keith Lutz, Kameron Hannah, and Sam Lutz, all of Wabash; Derek Lutz of Arizona, and Halle (Derek) Amann of Wabash; three great-grandchildren, Garrett Amann, Addison Hannah, and John Paul “J.P.” Hannah, all of Wabash; and three sisters: Lovetta (Bill) Pickleseimer and Trinnia (Alex) Sloan, both of Wabash; and Mary Adams of Branch, La. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bill Rowland, and three sisters, Juanita Bolin, Eileen Shepherd, and Alice Faye Haney.
A celebration of life will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday, July 31, at Christian Heritage Church, 2776 River Road, Wabash. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
