Spay-Neuter Clinic In Warsaw Aug. 16

WARSAW – A spay-neuter clinic is being held in August in Warsaw that will offer services at a reduced rate.
The daylong event will be Monday, Aug. 16 at the Fireman’s Building, 1013 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, near the Pike Lake Campground.
The service is operated by Public Vets and the group has extensive rules and expectations for those who want the services. To find the Warsaw event, click here.
Registration is required.
Check-in will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. All cats will be checked in and discharged to and from the owner’s vehicle. A staff member will check your cat in from your vehicle. Participants will be given time to return to pick up animals later the same day. No cats stay overnight.
The website points out that by submitting the registration form, participants are only making an appointment. But if somebody registers and then can’t attend, there is no cost for not showing up.
The cost of surgery is $80 per cat and covers the cost of a medical exam, all surgery costs, essential services ordered by the attending surgeon and access to the surgeon by phone for three days after surgery.

- 1-year Rabies, $10

- Feral cats in live traps are $40.
